Mr. Suthanai Prasertsan (second right), Executive Vice President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), gave EXIM Thailand’s financial support of 1,000,000 baht for the MOF canal preservation project to Mr. Pongpanu Svetrarundra (second left), Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance (MOF) at the MOF on July 24, 2012. The project was initiated by MOF to increase the awareness and participation of local communities in the preservation of canals in support of the government’s water management scheme, which aims to rehabilitate water resources and prevent the recurrence of last year’s great flood in Bangkok and vicinity areas.
