Mrs. Warangkana Wongkhaluang, Senior Executive Vice President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), Mr. Akkaruth Sandhyananda, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance, and Ms. Pimpen Ladpli, Advisor on Policy and Strategy, Ministry of Finance, recently led a media delegation to visit Betagro (Lao) Feedmill Company Limited, a subsidiary of Betagro Public Company Limited (BTG). The group was welcomed by Mr. Worrawut Vanitkulbodee, Chief Operating Officer International Business of BTG, in Vientiane, Lao PDR. In collaboration with Banque Pour Le Commerce Exterieur Lao Public (BCEL), EXIM Thailand has been supporting Thai entrepreneurs investing in Lao PDR by providing access to local currency loans (Kip) for operations generating revenue in Kip. This initiative enhances liquidity and drives business growth, contributing to economic development in Lao PDR and the Greater Mekong Subregion.
