The Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand) received a certificate of recognition from the Department of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce, for successfully passing the assessment of its Internal Compliance Program (ICP) on the control of goods related to the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (WMD). EXIM Thailand is the only financial institution in Thailand to have been certified for the ICP system since 2023, underscoring its strong commitment to high compliance standards in controlling and preventing the import and export of dual-use items (DUI) that could potentially be linked to WMD proliferation. This achievement reinforces international confidence in Thailand’s public and private sectors.
