EXIM Thailand Provides 900 Million Baht in Financial Support to AEROTHAI to Propel Aviation Industry Recovery
Dr. Rak Vorrakitpokatorn, President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), and Dr. Napasith Chakpitak, President of Aeronautical Radio of Thailand Ltd. (AEROTHAI), recently signed a 900-million-baht financial support agreement at AEROTHAI’s Head Office. The facility aims to strengthen AEROTHAI’s liquidity and support its service expansion and capacity enhancement to accommodate the steadily increasing number of domestic flights.
The President of EXIM Thailand noted that this financial support underscores the Bank’s commitment to reinforcing Thailand’s aviation industry, a key driver of national economic growth. AEROTHAI plans to upgrade its capabilities and enhance the efficiency of air traffic management services, which will benefit the aviation, tourism, trade, and investment sectors, thereby boosting Thailand’s overall competitiveness. This initiative also aligns with the government’s policy to develop the country’s air transport infrastructure and advance Thailand toward becoming a regional aviation hub.
