Mr. Charat Rattanaboonniti, Executive Vice President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), presided over the opening ceremony of an intensive training and selection session for entrepreneurs participating in eco-friendly packaging development under the project “SMEs Export Studio 2025: Brand DNA” jointly organized by EXIM Thailand, the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR), and Department of Intellectual Property (DIP), Ministry of Commerce, at EXIM Thailand’s Head Office on April 29, 2025.
The event featured speakers including Dr. Ratchaneewan Kulchan, Director of the Packaging Development Laboratory, Thai Packaging Centre, TISTR; Ms. Preechaya Jirathammakijkul, Manager of the Industrial Technology Assistance Program (ITAP), NSTDA; and Mr. Bhusit Jaturongkakul, Branding Specialist. The session aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge of brand building and export-oriented packaging development through innovation and technology, in line with the growing global emphasis on environmental sustainability. From more than 100 applicants, 20 SMEs were selected to receive packaging development support valued at up to 50,000 baht per company, along with financial support and international trade risk management tools from EXIM Thailand to help strengthen liquidity and enhance the global competitiveness of Thai SMEs.
