Dr. Paopoom Rojanasakul, Deputy Minister of Finance, presided over the opening ceremony and delivered a special speech at the “SFIs to Support the People” event in Khon Kaen Province. Dr. Benjarong Suwankiri, Senior Executive Vice President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), and Mr. Charat Rattanaboonniti, EXIM Thailand’s Executive Vice President; Mr. Pichit Mitrawong, Managing Director of Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand (SME D Bank); and Mr. Sittikorn Direksoonthorn, President of the Thai Credit Guarantee Corporation (TCG), joined the event to lead executives and staff from state-owned specialized financial institutions (SFIs) in promoting financial literacy, access to funding and various financial products and support measures for entrepreneurs in Khon Kaen and neighboring provinces. The event featured an EXIM Export Clinic, offering financial health check-ups, export advisory services, and business guidance for importers and exporters impacted by the U.S. Reciprocal Tariffs Policy. On this occasion, EXIM Thailand extended financing facilities to Siampat Import Export Co., Ltd. and SP Auto Products Co., Ltd., as well as other SMEs seeking to start or expand export businesses, with a particular focus on environmentally friendly and sustainable operations at Pullman Khon Kaen Hotel in Khon Kaen Province on May 24, 2025.
