EXIM Thailand Opens Booth and Launches “EXIM Export Clinic” to Support Thai Entrepreneurs Amid Trump 2.0 Trade Challenges at MOF’s 150th Anniversary Event
Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, presided over the opening ceremony of the “MOF Journey: 150 Years of Thailand’s Fiscal Path” event, held to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Ministry of Finance. During the event, he visited the booth of the Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), where he was welcomed by Ms. Suksiri Apinyanuwat, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance and Chairman of the Board of Directors of EXIM Thailand; Mr. Warotai Kosolpisitkul, Director of EXIM Thailand; Mr. Bundit Sapianchai, Director and Acting President of EXIM Thailand; along with executives from the Ministry of Finance and EXIM Thailand at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center on May 1, 2025.
As part of the event, EXIM Thailand opened a booth showcasing its comprehensive range of financial services and special promotions tailored for SMEs, particularly those committed to anti-corruption practices and good governance, in support of sustainable and transparent “White Businesses.” The Bank also introduced the EXIM Export Clinic, providing consultations and tailored financial solutions to Thai importers and exporters affected by the U.S. Reciprocal Tariffs under the “Trump 2.0” policy, with the aim of mitigating trade impacts and strengthening business resilience amid global uncertainty. In addition, Siam Organic Food Products Co., Ltd., an EXIM Thailand client, participated in the event by exhibiting samples of its high-quality export snack and cereal products under the brands ZANTUN & VICTOR and NOBI NOBI. The event was held from May 1-3, 2025, at Halls 3-4, G Floor, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
