Mr. Phumtham Wechayachai, Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Commerce, presided over the opening ceremony of the “Thailand SME Synergy Expo 2024” at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, on June 19, 2024. The event was attended by Ms. Draswan Shoowong, Executive Vice President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), along with executives from public and private sector organizations. Organized by the Department of Business Development (DBD), Ministry of Commerce, in collaboration with the Office of Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion (OSMEP), the expo aimed to strengthen the competitiveness of Thai entrepreneurs, particularly SMEs, in global trade. EXIM Thailand participated as a speaker and provided advisory services at its booth on international trade. The Bank supports SMEs through its “3 Fills” strategy, Fill Knowledge Gaps, Fill Opportunity Gaps, and Fill Capital Gaps, helping Thai exporters compete sustainably in global markets.
