Ms. Draswan Shoowong, Executive Vice President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), along with executives from other state-owned specialized financial institutions (SFIs), recently attended the opening ceremony of the “SFIs to Support the People” event at Royal Nakarra Hotel and Convention Center in Nong Khai Province. The event aimed to enhance financial literacy, promote access to funding, and introduce SFI financial products and support measures to local entrepreneurs in Nong Khai and nearby provinces. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Takorn Laohapongchana, Assistant Secretary to the Minister of Finance, who also witnessed EXIM Thailand provide credit support to ICL International Co., Ltd. and SMI Import-Export Co., Ltd. EXIM Thailand also set up a booth to offer knowledge, business opportunities, and financial support to SMEs interested in starting or expanding export businesses, particularly those with environmentally friendly operations.
