Mr. Teerarak Sangsnit, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), delivered the opening remarks at EXIM Stakeholders Day held for the fourth consecutive year under the theme “EXIM’s Journey Towards a Green Development Bank.” Dr. Rak Vorrakitpokatorn, President of EXIM Thailand, also participated to share insights and strengthen engagement with stakeholders across all sectors. The event served as a platform for gathering feedback on EXIM Thailand’s policies and operations as a state-owned specialized financial institution under the Ministry of Finance. Attendees included representatives from regulatory bodies, shareholders, economic ministries, public and private sector organizations, civil society, and community groups, such as the Federation of Thai Industries, the Thai Chamber of Commerce, the Thai National Shippers’ Council, financial institutions, and businesses of all sizes. The event was held virtually from EXIM Thailand’s Head Office on November 18, 2024.
EXIM Thailand would integrate the feedback and proposals into its strategic planning, policy development, and organizational growth, with a strong emphasis on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. The Bank remains committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2027 and net-zero emissions by 2050, while supporting Thailand’s economic resilience and contributing to sustainable development at both national and global levels.
