Ms. Suksiri Apinyanuwat, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), together with Mr. Bundit Sapianchai, Director and Acting President of EXIM Thailand, delivered policy directions to the Bank’s executives and employees at the Town Hall Meeting titled “Upskilling to Navigate Global Trade Challenges in the Trump 2.0 Era” at EXIM Thailand’s Head Office on June 11, 2025. The event aimed to communicate EXIM Thailand’s strategic direction and operational policies, with a focus on supporting Thai entrepreneurs and mitigating the impacts of the U.S. Reciprocal Tariffs policy.
During the event, senior executives of EXIM Thailand joined a special discussion on the Bank’s organizational upskilling initiative, designed to enhance the readiness of management and staff across all departments, branches, and overseas representative offices. The initiative aligns with EXIM Thailand’s mission to serve as a financial mechanism and establish an Export Clinic that provides advisory services to help Thai entrepreneurs navigate global trade challenges in the Trump 2.0 era. The meeting also emphasized teamwork and collaboration across all functions of the organization and strengthened partnerships with public and private sector allies to drive the sustainable growth of Thailand’s export sector, a key engine of the national economy.
