Dr. Benjarong Suwankiri, Senior Executive Vice President, Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), recently met with Ms. Prinat Apirat, Consul-General of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Shanghai, and Mr. Sakarn Saensopa, Consul (Commercial), to explore collaborative strategies for supporting Thai entrepreneurs in expanding trade and investment between Thailand and China. The meeting focused on regional economic developments and emerging business opportunities.
The delegation also visited Super Brand Mall, Shanghai’s largest and most popular shopping destination operated by the Charoen Pokphand Group. The objective was to identify new market channels for Thai SMEs in China. The team was welcomed by Mr. Jason Tan, Director of Fund Management and Investment and Senior Executive of Business Development at CP Asset Wise Holding and Chia Tai Bright Holding; Mr. Tony Chan, General Manager of CP Import & Export Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.; along with other senior executives from the Charoen Pokphand Group.
