The Board of Directors of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand) has appointed Mr. Charat Rattanaboonniti as EXIM Thailand’s new President, taking effect from October 1, 2025.
EXIM Thailand has completed the selection process for EXIM Thailand President in accordance with the criteria of the Ministry of Finance and the Bank of Thailand. The Board of Directors has resolved to appoint Mr. Charat Rattanaboonniti, EXIM Thailand’s Executive Vice President, as EXIM Thailand’s new President with the Minister of Finance’s consent as required by the Export-Import Bank of Thailand Act 1993 (B.E. 2536).
Mr. Charat received a Master of Business Administration from California State University, U.S.A., and a Bachelor of Accountancy, majoring in Accounting Information System, Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy from Chulalongkorn University. He was formerly Senior Manager of Multi-corporate Segment, Siam Commercial Bank Plc.; Senior Vice President of Government Sector, Krung Thai Bank Plc.; and Executive Vice President of EXIM Thailand before being appointed as the 7th President of EXIM Thailand since its establishment in 1994. His tenor is 4 years from October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2029.
