EXIM Thailand Releases Economic Outlook in the Second Half 2020  and the Bank’s 2020 First-half Operating Results
Mr. Pisit Serewiwattana, President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), held a press briefing on the economic outlook in the second half of 2020 and the Bank’s first half of 2020 operating result at EXIM Thailand’s Head Office on July 22, 2020. In the first half of 2020, EXIM Thailand’s reported total outstanding loans amounting to 126,501 million baht, contributing to a business turnover of 85,834 million baht of which 29,227 million baht came from SMEs. The Bank also recorded 90,792 million baht in export credit and investment insurance business turnover, a surge by 70.38% year-on-year. Meanwhile, EXIM Thailand is fully-equipped to fulfill the needs of Thai entrepreneurs, SMEs in particular, for financing sources and other financial instruments for their continued business operation and further development of manufacture and service processes, as well as responding to global consumers’ demand.
