EXIM Thailand Visits Client’s Wind Power Plant Project in Nakhon Si Thammarat
Mr. Nopporn Thepsithar (second left), Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors, Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), and Mr. Kematat Saicheur (second right), EXIM Thailand’s Acting President, recently visited Pak Phanang Windpark, a 10 MW wind power plant project worth 800 million baht operated by Inter Far East Wind International Co., Ltd. (IWIND), a subsidiary of Inter Far East Energy Corporation plc. (IFEC) group. EXIM Thailand provided a 650-million-baht loan to finance the project construction in line with its policy to promote Thailand’s renewable energy development and sustainable growth. Mr. Nopporn and EXIM Thailand’s representatives were welcomed by Dr. Sumet Suthapakdi (far left), Chairman and Co-CEO of IWIND, and Mr. Banjong Orachunka (far right), Managing Director of IWIND, at the project site on the seashore of Bangphra, Pak Phanang, Nakhon Si Thammarat province.
