EXIM Thailand Co-finances B.Grimm Power’s  7 Industrial Power Plant Projects with Combined Capacity of 980 MW
Mr. Pisit Serewiwattana (third right), President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), congratulates Dr. Harald Link (center), Chairman of B.Grimm, and Mrs. Preeyanart Soontornwata (third left), President of B.Grimm Power on the successful launch of seven industrial power plant construction schemes with a combined capacity of 980 megawatts co-financed by EXIM Thailand and four other banks, namely, Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited, Government Savings Bank, Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited, Kasikornbank Public Company Limited in the total amount 29,436 million baht at the Athenee Hotel, Bangkok on October 9, 2020. The seven projects, worth 39,248 million baht in total, include two new natural gas power plant projects and five other power plants to replace existing facilities under the power purchase agreements with the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand and industrial users in industrial estates in Thailand in which numerous export manufacturing factories are located. In line with the government’s policy, this co-financing is aimed at driving national economic growth, energy security, infrastructure development for export promotion and Thailand’s national development in the long run.
