Mr. Ittipol Lertsakthanakul (right), First Vice President of Business Promotion Department 1, Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), recently served as a speaker on the topic of financial institution’s perspective on renewable energy promotion in a seminar titled “Insight into How the FiT Bidding Works.” The seminar’s objective was to enhance renewable energy entrepreneurs’ understanding about government’s bidding process and financial knowledge relating to biomass and biogas power sale. The seminar was jointly held by EXIM Thailand, Excellent Energy International Co., Ltd. and Green Networking Magazine at the Sukosol Hotel, Bangkok. EXIM Thailand has a policy to support renewable power generation to reduce foreign currency expenses on energy import and support Thailand’s Power Development Plan 2015 aiming at increasing national renewable energy consumption.
