EXIM Thailand, BOT and DIP Hold Seminar in Chiang Mai to Protect Thai SME Exporters from International Trade Risks
Mr. Suthanai Prasertsan (third left), Acting President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), recently presided over a seminar titled “Protecting Thai SMEs with Export Credit Insurance” hosted by EXIM Thailand; Northern Region Office, Bank of Thailand (BOT); and Department of Industrial Promotion (DIP), Ministry of Industry, at The Imperial Mae Ping Hotel, Chiang Mai province. The seminar aimed to enhance start-up SMEs’ knowledge on international trade payment terms, buyers and buyers’ countries risk assessment, and workshop on buyers’ analysis for use in real-world business practices. Mr. Singhachai Boonyayotin (center), Senior Director of BOT Northern Region Office, delivered a keynote speech on “Managing Risk in the Context of Global Uncertainty.”
