EXIM Thailand Joins Hand with Thai Eastern Group Holdings Supporting Rubber Planters to Comply with FSC Standard
Mr. Prasert Patradhilok (center), Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors, Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), recently led the Bank’s executives and staff to visit rubber plantation under the CSR project “EXIM World Soil Day,” under which EXIM Thailand in cooperation with Thai Eastern Group Holdings Co., Ltd. (TEGH), the Bank’s client,  supported over 60 rubber planters in the rubber plantation area of 1,918 rai in 7 Eastern provinces to comply with the standards of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), transforming the plantations into better-managed and more sustainable business. This will increase product value and enable small farmers to become more competitive in the world market and get a higher return for their FSC certified products. The EXIM Thailand’s group was welcomed by Dr. Kamolthip Komolyutphet (left), Chief Financial Officer of TEGH, and farmers, in Nhong Yai District, Chonburi Province.
